Die Sache mit der Diplomarbeit
Mein Erstkorrektor hat mir eine 1,7 auf meine Arbeit gegeben. Thema der Arbeit war “Foreign Real Estate – A comparison of the process of buying property in Germany and Australia (NSW). ”
Hier seine Begründung:
1. Er hätte gerne eine Kaufempfehlung mit Preisangabe gehabt. Denk mal drüber nach wie bescheuert diese Forderung ist. Ich möchte ein Auto kaufen, sag mir wie viel es kostet. Ich habe mich auf 12 Seiten darüber ausgelassen, welche Faktoren in den Preis mit reinspielen.
2. Manche Begriffe haben im Glossar gefehlt und er hätte die Zusammenhänge erst zu spät verstanden. Gut, das Begriffe, die mir geläufig waren gefehlt haben, gestehe ich ein. Aber das Thema ist nicht linear, und deswegen auch nicht linear logisch aufeinander aufbauend erklärbar. Er hat sogar zugegeben, dass es komplexer ist als er gedacht hatte und dass er beeindruckt war, wie ich dennoch einen guten roten Faden in die Arbeit bekommen habe.
3. Blöder Zeitpunkt. Meine Arbeit war die erste Arbeit die korrigiert wurde, nachdem Kritik aufkam, dass die Arbeiten generell zu gut benotet werden. Zwei Monate früher wäre es eine 1,3 geworden. Aber ich habe 1,5 Jahre Recherche Arbeit eingebracht (was laut ihm eine wesentliche Stärke der Arbeit war), ich habe sie komplett auf Englisch geschrieben (was er einem BWLer nicht zugetraut hätte) und sie ist wirklichwirklich gut geschrieben (was ihm auch positiv aufgefallen ist)! Es gibt sicherlich genug andere Arbeiten die man schlecht bewerten kann. Manno.
Meine Zweitkorrektorin hat mir dann die 1,3 gegeben. Also bin ich doch noch ganz zufrieden. (OK, es mag außer mir niemanden interessieren, welche Note ich habe, und ich habe ja auch so einen Job bekommen, aber mich halt schon)
Nun. Habe ich eine Email bekommen. Von der Deutsch-Australischen Handelskammer. SIE WOLLEN MEINE ARBEIT VERÖFFENTLICHEN!! Für 65 Euro kann man sie als PDF herunterladen. Ich bekomme 50%. Ob das OK für mich sei.
